1. About these terms

These terms govern the use of the Velvet Edge Salon & Barbershop website and the booking of services at our salon. Velvet Edge Salon & Barbershop is operated by Black Rhino Lounge Pty Ltd (Reg. No. 2022/823178/07). By booking an appointment you accept these terms.

2. Bookings

• Online and WhatsApp bookings are requests. Your appointment is confirmed only once we contact you and accept the requested slot.
• Each confirmed booking carries a unique reference number.
• Please arrive on time. Arriving more than 15 minutes late may require your appointment to be rescheduled.

3. Cancellations and rescheduling

Life happens — we simply ask that you let us know as soon as possible, ideally at least 4 hours before your appointment, by phone or WhatsApp. Repeated no-shows may require a deposit for future bookings.

4. Pricing

Prices are not listed on this website. Your stylist or barber will always confirm the cost of your service before starting, so there are never any surprises.

5. Duration estimates

Listed durations are estimates. We never rush a service — please allow a little flexibility, especially for braids, colour and nail art.

6. Children

Children under 12 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for the duration of their appointment.

7. Liability

We take every care with our services and products. Please tell us about allergies, sensitivities or medical conditions before your service so we can advise you properly. We cannot be held liable for reactions to ingredients we were not made aware of.

8. Website content

All content on this website — including text, imagery and the Velvet Edge brand — belongs to Black Rhino Lounge Pty Ltd and may not be reproduced without written permission.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
